This policy covers the swimhastings.uk website and the Swim Hastings Android app, which is this website in a thin wrapper and collects nothing of its own.
What we store — only if you subscribe to alerts
- Browser alerts (the bell button): the push endpoint URL and two encryption keys your browser creates, plus which beaches you chose. No name, number or email — we have no idea who a subscription belongs to. The endpoint is stored hashed in our delivery logs, and the record is deleted when you unsubscribe or when your browser's push service tells us the subscription is gone.
- Telegram bot: your chat id and beach choices.
/unsubscribeclears the choices so nothing more is sent. - WhatsApp pilot: your phone number, added by hand at your request. Ask and it is removed.
What we never do
No accounts. No cookies. No ads. No tracking or profiling. Nothing is sold or shared. Visitor counting is by GoatCounter — no cookies, no personal data collected.
